"I would rather fail at doing something than succeed at doing nothing." I don't know who to credit with this quote, but I've thought of it often since I heard it last week. Hmmmm...
Most of all, I've considered what exactly I want to attempt, and risk failing. After making a list, I'll admit it's going to take me some time to check each "to-do" off!
Just a few mentions from my list:
Read the Bible cover-to-cover. (I've done it three times before, and each time I realize my need to do it again.)
Teach myself how to crochet.
Smile more. (Sounds easy enough, right?)
Become a better wife and mother.
Start a vegetable garden. (This one carries a huge risk of failure--no green thumb here!)
Run a marathon.
Stop biting my nails. (Gross, gross habit, I know!)
Maybe my list is a bit strange--BUT-- "I would rather fail at doing something than succeed at doing nothing."!!!
